A Snowy Day and a Sleepy Baby

Sunday 17th January was the snow day, you remember, THE snow day. I wasn’t actually expecting the snow to ever arrive so I was met with a very exciting surprise that morning, and a slight predicament. I had a newborn baby shoot at 10am, so I pondered for a minute or two as to whether I could play with my own kids in the snow, photograph the snow, and get to the shoot in time. I decided of course I could!!

Baby Alfie was just four weeks old at the time of the shoot, and what a sweet and sleepy bundle he was. One of the most laid back babies I’ve had the pleasure of working with, probably helped by his incredibly laid back parents who were happy to try everything I suggested! Here are a few of my favourites from the day.. x

Gorgeous photos Hannah – I love the yawny one! Sounds like a magical day – impressed you managed to fit it all in – but snow is very special isn’t it? I need to make more effort next time!

Ah thanks a lot Zoe, the snow is indeed very special! I’m really glad I managed to get out in it with my own kids, such a great morning with them. And thanks, the yawny one is one of my faves too! xx
