Print Giveaway

As a huge thank you for all the lovely support, visits and comments I have received here since beginning this blog, I have decided to give away a 12″ x 12″ giclée print of one of my most popular images of last year, the poppies.

I was on holiday in Portugal when I snapped this, and I kept glimpsing these splashes of red as we drove to the beach each day. They were flourishing in a rather unlikely spot at the roadside, between buildings and down a steep ditch. Much to my joy I worked out the sun would set behind them and I came back one evening at golden hour. The whole patch was brought to life as the light streamed through the delicate crépey petals and caught in their fine, hairy stems. Photographing poppies became somewhat of an obsession last Summer and I continued to seek them back in England, but I never caught them a-glow in this way again.

I have had this image made into a 12″ x 12″ giclée fine art print, which I have mounted with a conservation level double mount. I will send it mounted (but not framed as in the image for ease of posting) to one winner, and this is open worldwide. All you have to do to enter is pop your email address into the little box in the sidebar or in the box that drops down and asks you to subscribe!
