Villefranche-Sur-Mer ❤️ Steep cobbled streets, Villefranche-Sur-Mer ❤️
Steep cobbled streets, the sound of the bells from the beautiful yellow church. Ochre coloured houses, shutters, and laundry flapping in the warm breeze. Memories from the Côte d'Azur 🥰🧡

A few more from the peaceful streets of Valbonne. There were lots of lovely little boutiques, cafes and restaurants laid out around the pretty square here. Definitely something to take more time for next time I’m there ☺️

A lovely moment alone in a poppy field. Very different to the rainy old day we have today! ❤️❤️❤️

The summer disappeared without me posting on my fe The summer disappeared without me posting on my feed. To be honest I needed a break and I didn’t even take my camera on holiday with me.
Here’s some memories I’d love to share here from the busiest summer I’ve ever had to juggle work-wise, but with some wonderful breaks with my family thrown in between 😊
Some from Northumberland, some from Devon, and all featuring Albert. What on earth would we do without him?! 😆🖤

Villefranche-Sur-Mer 💖 I think my favourite of Villefranche-Sur-Mer 💖
I think my favourite of all the towns I visited. A colourful gem next to the sea.
Although I didn’t find Rue Obscure.. the medieval underground tunnel street that is apparently quite creepy. That’s one to do with the kids I think!

Valbonne 🍇 When I visit a town, I look on my iP Valbonne 🍇
When I visit a town, I look on my iPhone map to check where the old part is, and usually it’s where the streets are higgledy-piggledy and irregular. Valbonne is unusual for a medieval town in that it’s laid out in a precise, uniform grid pattern. It was apparently built in 1519 based on Roman plans, and the grid means it’s very easy to cover every inch of it!
Anyway, it’s a delightful place to visit. Parking is free, but I couldn’t find a toilet for love nor money 😆

As you probably know, photographing a field of flowers makes me very happy. I love that friends tip me off on where to find them too!
Have a lovely evening. Nearly the weekend 🥂

Daisies for days 💛 I hope you can tell how hot Daisies for days 💛
I hope you can tell how hot it was when I took this 😅
I don’t think I’ve seen this daisy field as good as this in all the years I’ve been coming here. It was stunning today! Hopefully I’ll be back there soon for more pics ☺️
The weather is incredible but I could really do with a swimming pool, a cold bevvy and no work to do 😅
Have a lovely evening x

This trip itched a scratch to an extent to see new things and places from a photography point of view… but I was more focussed on family than photography. As my work has changed over the last year I get far less time to go out and shoot for the love of it. That’s something I’m hoping will change a little over this summer ☺️📸
Postcards from Crete, where the olive groves nestl Postcards from Crete, where the olive groves nestle between the mountains and the wild coastline, and the bougainvillea covers the sunny terraces.
Yes I kept that one quiet! I never quite got around to any stories, but we popped off to Crete for a long weekend in the school holidays. It was spent mostly by the pool and filling our faces with amazing food, but there were enough pretty scenes to satisfy me with my camera too 💕
The last time we came to Crete was just over 7 years ago when the boys were 3 and 5 😳. It was my first solo trip abroad with them and life is very very different now!! 😂
I’ll put some pictures in my stories so you can see how tiny they were 🥹
Anyway it was amazing to be back soaking up that sunshine, albeit a short trip. I have a few posts to share with you 🥰
I hope you’re all well. Happy Friday 🤍
A still moment featuring some raspberry and mascar A still moment featuring some raspberry and mascarpone cream filled profiteroles that I made recently for a friend. Two that wouldn’t squeeze in the dish went in my freezer 🙊

These photos were inspired by a lady I taught recently who shared her beautiful Pinterest board with me. Full of calm and peaceful still life’s and flatlays - the sort of photos I used to take for Instagram all the time and now only really take for other people. I realised how much I missed having that moment of calm all to myself, so I whacked my profiteroles out of the freezer and got to it!

Have a lovely Tuesday 😘
