I’m not even nearly done with France photos yet, I just didn’t post for ages! But it’s a shame to leave them languishing on a hard drive, and I so wish I was there right now 😊
There’s a bit of exciting news in my stories today. Please go and have a nosy 👀
Have a lovely Wednesday folks 💙

Summer is coming, and I need to go looking for pop Summer is coming, and I need to go looking for poppy fields again 😊
I took a few days off with my kids, proper days off, that very rare thing for the self employed where you actually stop work and don’t open a computer. I barely glanced at Instagram and only replied to a few emails. It was amazing, I haven’t done it for years. That was weeks ago and I’ve been so busy since then that somehow I still don’t really glance at Instagram and it’s incredibly hard to come back here. Once that habit goes…. 👋🏼
But I do miss chatting to you guys, so I will try and get the insta habit back! How’ve you all been? x

Where’s Wally? ❤️👀 These photos make me s Where’s Wally? ❤️👀
These photos make me smile so much and my kids thought it was hilarious running around St-Martin-de-Ré finding hiding spots. So here they are for your viewing pleasure. Some of the facial expressions going on are brilliant, and the last one especially is my favourite 🤔☺️
Have a lovely Thursday 😘

I’m off to the Cotswolds this afternoon with Albert, looking forward to escaping for a little while as I’ve felt like a headless chicken recently. Must remember a dog towel though… otherwise I’m not sure Albert will be very welcome 😬💦🐕‍🦺👃🏼

Apparently the planning rules are (thankfully) strict on the island and shutters have to be painted one of 16 approved colours. 8 of which are green, and 8 of which are blue! Although white appears to be ok too, but whatever they are doing to preserve that unspoilt charm, it’s working!

In the last photo you might notice the well, which are all over the island and outside many houses. This was the only one I noticed still with the original pulley mechanic for lifting water. Which being me, I though was really cool 😂
I might write a blog post next week with a few tips for a holiday there 😊
Happy Friday to you all, long weekend ahoy 🍻
It feels like a different lifetime now that we wer It feels like a different lifetime now that we were wandering around Saint-Martin-de-Ré in the crazy wind! It’s weird how travel somewhere different is like a capsule of time. Especially after so long of not doing it, it feels even more abstract!
Anyway it’s lovely to look back at these photos today.
Have a lovely new week 🌿
Happy Earth Day 🌍 My little boy excitedly remin Happy Earth Day 🌍
My little boy excitedly reminded me of this fact at 6.30 this morning ☺️
Let’s hope the next generation do a better job of looking after the world and everything in it than we did.

Swipe to see when a nice French lady popped open h Swipe to see when a nice French lady popped open her shutters and spoke to the kids. They thought they were in trouble and jumped out of their skin but she just wanted to say hello to them!
I hid in the wisteria obvs and let them get on with it 🙌🏼😂
Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate! We’ve had a chocolate filled, fun filled day and soon I’ll be lighting the bbq and cracking the vino! Cheers folks xx
I’ve completely overwhelmed myself with photos f I’ve completely overwhelmed myself with photos from last week and now have no idea how to organise them, so I’m starting at the beginning with a few from our first day wondering around Ars-en-Ré.
Does anyone remember this yellow wall from my last trip? I was very happy to find it again and I love this photo of my boys 🥰 💛🌿
Ps if you want to find it too, it’s down the alleyway in the second photo!

Photos that are like paintings are my favourite 😌🎨
I’d quite like these as wallpaper or a duvet cover 😂
Now is probably a good time to mention you can buy prints from me. Anything you fancy, any size, just message me and I can get beautiful quality giclee prints shipped worldwide.
One day I’ll have a posh shoppable website… but that time isn’t here yet 😂😘
You may have realised how much I love colours and You may have realised how much I love colours and beach huts, and my kids are quite nice too 😉
I love having these guys on my feed, it’s how I learned to be a photographer, it’s how my Instagram started, and it’s my purpose in life. Low engagement briefly brings me down, but then I read the lovely comments and realise it’s just a crappy algorithm and I’ll keep on posting my life and my loves ☺️
Final bargain bucket of photos from Kent! Have a lovely new week and thanks for your kind comments, they always mean so much! 😘
Family photo album from a weekend well spent ❤️
I have woken up everyday this week a bit gutted that I’m not still at @cabucabins (ad/pr stay) 😂, 2 days was definitely not long enough! But it does make me very excited for more adventures around the corner 🧳
Have a lovely weekend guys 🍻
